At Be Branded we didn’t always know that we would be in Colorado or even in the Promotional Products Industry. As a graduate from Brigham Young University with a degree in psychology, Brian Ensign, Be Branded’s Owner wanted to make a difference in the world and become a Clinical Psychologist. While waiting to hear back from the various schools that he applied to, he started a job as a branding expert [customer service specialist] for a promotional products company based out of Utah. When Brian didn’t get into his first choice of schools, he decided to fully put his efforts into this interesting path that he fell into.
Fast forward 6 months and he made the transition to sales to better service his base of customers that he built. Fast forward another 6 months and he was employee of the year of a 100-person company after his first 12 months in the industry. With an opportunity to make the move to Colorado as a Branch Manager Brian took his promotional products career to the next level. Over the next 6 years Brian learned the ins and outs of how to best service his customers all while managing a team of 3-5 employees and growing his book of business significantly through focusing on relationships and top-notch customer service/follow up.
Having and running his own vision is what ultimately led to the decision that resulted in forming Be Branded in October 2019. Brian knew that his vision for the future would best be accomplished without training/managing a team and with the ability to make decisions quickly without need for approval from others.
